Northwest Fire Training Facility

I spent about 2 days visiting similar facilities, reviewing designs, and researching for this design proposal. It took another day to do the schematic design, master plan, and model the entire site and all buildings in 3D.

These fire training facilities are very unique; It's like a campus full of big toys for Fire Fighters. They train for every possible scenario. They actually set some buildings on fire, flood others with water, destroy construction mock-ups, cut into vehicles, climb through tunnels and trenches, while also spending time in classrooms and technology labs learning all aspects of fire saftey they encounter.
